STEP 1:
Collecting/Purchasing Your
Mailing List
COST: Depends. If you
already have a mailing list
compiled it's FREE!
A good, solid mailing list
is the key to any successful
eFlyer campaign, and is
really the best way to
"market" your piece. If you
already have an email list
put together, you're already
there! You can also purchase
vetted "opt in" lists
depending on your needs.
Good quality email lists
generally START at $800+.
Please keep in mind that
email lists aren't like
traditional mailing lists
and it may be difficult, and
indeed impossible, to
purchase a list that will
cover EXACTLY the
demographic you're looking
for (e.g., you aren't likely
to find a good list of email
addresses for all commercial
businesses in a particular
city) Blind distributions,
or purchasing a "generic"
email list is not advised!.
For starters, you run the
risk of being flagged as
SPAM by many recipients, and
never being viewed. Worst
case your server is flagged
for spam and they can shut
you off altogether.
Regardless of your list, you
must include an "opt out"
line on your eFlyer where
people can request to be
removed from your mailing
list. This is generally the
way you distinguish yourself
from the real spam on the
web.

filters.

Generally FAR less than the
cost to design a
professional print brochure,

STEP 3: Distribution
